Using the games main mechanics the player can turn from the material world to the flat world to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles and progress through prison rooms to achieve his escape.

The transformation needs consumables which in game are represented by Teeth the only way to acquire them is through combat with the other inhabitants of the prison or use his own but if he runs out of Teeth then it is game over.
